Abstract

This scientific-experimental article presents an analysis of the structure, color fastness, and cultural significance of traditional Uzbek fabrics – Atlas and Adras. The research involved optical microscopy, physico-mechanical testing, and chemical analysis of dyes. The results demonstrated that Atlas fabric features high elasticity, smoothness, and gloss, while Adras fabric is more durable and resistant to mechanical effects. An ethnographic analysis of patterns was also conducted, reflecting the spiritual values and cultural traditions of the Uzbek people
