Abstract

The article discusses the content, main components, practical application and advantages of automation of technological processes. The article highlights the widespread use of automation technologies in such industries as manufacturing, energy, agriculture and medicine, as well as the role of these technologies in facilitating human labor, improving product quality and increasing production efficiency. The prospects for automation based on modern technologies - the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and cyber-physical systems will also be discussed
