Silkworm forage base in cocoon farming

The article discusses the importance of mulberry leaves as a forage for successful cultivation of silkworms (Bombyx mori). The composition of the forage base, quality indicators, collection and storage technologies, their influence on the development of silkworms and cocoon productivity are scientifically analyzed. The relationship between the nutrient content of mulberry leaves and silk production, as well as the health of worms is also studied experimentally. The research results will allow developing effective feeding strategies for the intensive development of cocoon farming.
