Abstract

This study examines the scientific basis of effective methods for developing speed and speed-strength qualities in 12–14-year-old football players. A specialized training program was developed and tested on experimental and control groups. The findings indicate that systematic application of speed-strength exercises significantly enhances the physical fitness of young athletes.
