The use of modern information and communication technologies in the teaching of data structure and algorithms science

This article explores the effectiveness of teaching the course "Data Structures and Algorithms" using modern information and communication technologies (ICT). An experimental study was conducted among students of the Ferghana State Technical University (FSTU), incorporating visualization tools, interactive programming environments, and gamification elements. The results indicate that ICT-based approaches significantly improve students’ comprehension, motivation, and practical skills. The paper also addresses certain challenges in ICT implementation and offers practical recommendations. The findings contribute to the development of methodological strategies for digitally enhanced education in algorithmic thinking and data structures.
