Planning the lesson: a key component of effective language teaching

Effective language teaching is reliant on strategic lesson planning, which provides a framework for achieving educational goals and engaging learners. The findings reveal that adherence to curriculum goals, methodological adaptability, reflective teaching practices, and the use of interactive methods are key factors in ensuring effective lesson planning. Challenges such as time constraints and accommodating diverse proficiency levels were also identified, highlighting the need for flexibility in lesson planning. The study concludes that effective lesson planning is fundamental for successful language instruction, promoting a structured yet adaptable approach that meets the varied needs of learners
