Annotatsiya

The study provides a comprehensive analysis of modern drying systems used in the primary processing of raw cotton. It examines the distribution of moisture among the fiber, seed, and boll components and explores how different drying methods—convective, contact, radiation, and high-frequency—affect the overall efficiency and quality of cotton. Particular attention is given to drum dryers such as the 2SB-10 and SBO models, which ensure uniform moisture reduction while maintaining fiber integrity. The paper highlights that convective drying remains the most effective and energy-efficient method in industrial practice. Moreover, improving air-cleaning mechanisms, implementing automated control systems, and optimizing heat utilization are identified as key strategies for enhancing drying performance and reducing energy losses in cotton processing plants
