The Impact of Digital Technologies on Religious Traditions

This article analyzes the impact of digital technologies on religious rituals and education from both theoretical and practical perspectives. During the pandemic, remote forms of religious activity became widespread, leading to both positive and negative consequences. The study is based on Marshall McLuhan’s media theory and Islamic scholars' views, highlighting how digital tools influence traditional religious concepts. Statistical data and trends in religious information consumption in Uzbekistan are presented. The author emphasizes the importance of developing reliable digital religious platforms, enhancing the digital literacy of religious figures, and fostering critical thinking among youth.
