Pedagogical foundations for developing teamwork and leadership skills in school students through volleyball

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the pedagogical and methodological potential of volleyball in developing teamwork and leadership skills among school students. Volleyball, with its dynamic and team-oriented nature, serves as an effective tool for fostering cooperation, responsibility, initiative, communication skills, quick decision-making, and resilience under pressure.
The study examines the organization of volleyball lessons from a pedagogical perspective, strategies for developing teamwork, mechanisms for leadership skill formation, and motivational approaches. Additionally, it analyzes a three-month experimental program conducted with students, highlighting improvements in their social-psychological behaviors.
The findings indicate that volleyball lessons not only contribute to physical development but also enhance social and personal growth. They demonstrate that students become more responsible, proactive, and develop leadership qualities, confirming the effectiveness of volleyball as a pedagogical tool. The study emphasizes the educational significance of integrating volleyball into school physical education curricula.
