This article provides an in-depth and original scientific analysis of graphene, a two-dimensional carbon nanomaterial with extraordinary physicochemical properties. The study examines its atomic structure, chemical behavior, synthesis techniques, functionalization processes, and wide-ranging applications in energy systems, electronics, biomedicine, environmental protection, and advanced composite materials. Special attention is given to graphene-based nanocomposites, industrial production challenges, toxicity concerns, and future technological perspectives. The research emphasizes graphene’s strategic importance in next-generation high-performance materials and sustainable technologies.
