The article is devoted to studying the evolution of approaches to fostering creativity in the field of education. Special attention is given to the transition from traditional methods to modern teaching models based on 4C competencies: creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. The study highlights relevant examples of implementing these approaches in educational practice, analyzing their advantages and their impact on the learning process. Particular focus is placed on the challenges educators face when adopting innovative methodologies. Additionally, strategies for enhancing student motivation and adapting the learning process to modern demands are discussed. This article will benefit education specialists striving to improve teaching effectiveness and meet contemporary requirements
