This article examines the importance of religious tolerance in contemporary Uzbekistan, focusing on its role in ensuring social stability, interfaith harmony, and peaceful coexistence in a multiethnic and multireligious society. The study analyzes the historical foundations of religious tolerance in Uzbekistan, as well as current state policies aimed at guaranteeing freedom of conscience and equality among religious communities. Particular attention is given to the legal framework, educational initiatives, and cultural dialogue that promote mutual respect among followers of different faiths.
